January 29, 2009
On January 29th, The Dutch and RedBud families received some heartbreaking news. One of our worker families have been dealt the cruelest of all possible fates. The Denny Johnson family lost their loving daughter Brenda in a car accident, she was just 21 years old.  Her parents Denny and Debbie worked at both tracks as did Brenda. Her brother Derek raced and Brenda was his #1 fan.  We were truly blessed to know Brenda, she always had a smile on her face, a sparkle in her eyes and a heart of gold. She loved taking care of her family. She was going to Nursing school and working in  a nursing home.

We can't change what God allows to happen. We just ask you to join all of us in the days to come, to remember them in your prayers. Godspeed Brenda.
