Race Day Awards

Race day awards - Dutch Sport Park pays awards  to all Smurf City riders. For all other trophy classes, we use a formula of 1 award for every 3 entries in the class. All Pee Wee classes, all "C" classes  are eligible for trophies only (per district rules). All other youth classes and "B" classes are eligible for trophies or a check to the dealer of their choice. All "A" classes and Vet classes are eligible for cash awards.  You may also get Dutch Sport Park apparel instead of an award (excluding Smurf City classes.)  Please let us know if your Smurf City racer is wanting apparel and we can see what we can work out.

Minor Racer Information - Requirements for Riders Under 18

The AMA, our insurance carrier, and common sense require a parent or legal guardian to sign up a minor rider. For legal purposes, we need a liability release and a minor release form filled out by the parent. For safety sake, you need your parent with you in case you're hurt and need medical treatment.

If your parent can't come with you, there is a way to ride, but you have to be prepared before coming to the track! You need to bring a notarized permission note from your parent. Here's a generic version of what the note should say:

"My son Joe Smith has my permission to ride motocross at Dutch Sport Park on date. In addition, I give permission to Sam Johnson [an adult] to sign all liability, release and registration forms at the track and to give consent for medical treatment of Joe Smith if needed."

_____________________________Parent or Guardian signature

_____________________________Notary Public signature(seal)

In the example, Sam Johnson is someone 18 or over who will be at the track with you all day. We need an original copy of a notarized note for every race or practice day. You should bring an extra copy for Sam to keep in case you are hurt.

Every race it seems like we turn away at least one disappointed rider because he or she didn't bring a parent and didn't come prepared with the proper form(s). Don't let this happen to you!
